Woo, woo. Boris Karloff signs on Halloween.
The Halloween date is so weird, but I get the sense that, to Theo, it's just another day. That guy's head must be so filled with data and whatnot, I wonder if he ever connects with the non-baseball world.
Now, let's sign Konerko!
I fear Konerko is Angels bound. His agent, Craig Landis, is a pimp and is spreading rumor/innuendo. The fact that Konerko has opted to train in Arizona and Mike Scioscia is so hot and heavy for him, it seems likely he'll be with the Angels. Alas, if this plays out, Manny will be Manny with the BoSox for years to come.
I prefer Manny over Konerko, though.
You aren't alone. Why would the hometown team want to part with the majors' most feared right-handed batter? Think about it, 45 dingers and 144 RBIs. More importantly, Manny provided support for Big Pappi.
